Annual Inspections
This is a minimum recommendation under Australian Standards.
Part of the building code of Australia the standard recommends ‘regular’ competent inspection should be completed by a licensed professional at least annually.
This inspection is also recommended by the Ministry of Fair Trade WA. A full inspection is included with all Perth Pest Control termite treatments.
The building code also recommends preventative / pro-active termite treatments as 12 months between inspection is too long in some cases for termites to appear and cause significant damage.
A double brick home does not safeguard against termite entry and significant damage.
